The web app is not using the expected microphone for recording

Genderfluent allows you to select which microphone to use for recording within the web app (learn how to do that here). However, sometimes the browser or operating system settings can override this choice. Below is a quick guide to change which microphone your browser uses for recording in Chrome. Different browsers have different steps, but they are generally similar.

Chrome:

1. Click the settings icon in the address bar.
2. Find Microphone in the permissions list.
3. Pick the microphone you want.
4. Refresh the page.
