How do I change the microphone used for recording?

You can change the microphone used for recording in the web app by following these steps:

(1) Click on the settings icon, located in the top right corner of the screen.

(2) Select the dropdown under the “Microphone input” section.

(3) A list of available microphones will appear. Click on the microphone you want to use for recording.

Special notes:

• You may need to refresh the page for the change to take effect.
• Some browsers may force a specific microphone for a site, regardless of what you set it to in the web app. You may need to change your browser settings. Please refer to The web app is not using the expected microphone for recording for troubleshooting steps.
• Currently, only the web app allows changing the microphone; the mobile apps use the system default microphone.
